Explore Ongoing ResearchOur research focuses on understanding physical phenomena in soft and active matter using experimental techniques including electro-optical measurements, microfluidics, advanced imaging, and image processing. Soft matter phases emerge from a delicate balance between internal energy, thermal fluctuations, and entropy. As a result, even small external perturbations can lead to large changes in their spatio-temporal behaviour. We are interested in experimentally deciphering the physical mechanisms underlying such phenomena.
